Program Synopsis
The INVOKEN - is a super-natural thriller about a young girl whose life is forever changed when she witnesses the murder of her mother, by her own father. This trauma forces young Emily Waters to go deep within herself to summon the INVOKEN: ancient inner-demons who inflict vengeance on those who commit injustice.
By the time Emily is 20, she is no longer entirely sure that the demons will obey her. When the INVOKEN suddenly turn against Emily, her only hope for salvation and sanity is through Douglas, a fellow outcast. With his help, Emily finally comes to terms with the horrors of her childhood, and feels she has silenced the INVOKEN within.
Yet unknowingly, Emily's spirit-demons have merely escaped her grasp, and now roam the earth, destined to once again inflame the darkest acts of mankind.
THE INVOKEN is based on director Jesse Cowell's Webby Award-winning series, DRAWN BY PAIN.
