Program Synopsis
MUTANT ALIENS is a wildly humorous yet poignant story about
Earl Jensen, an astronaut abandoned in space by Dr. Frubar,
the space industry tycoon. 20 years later, his daughter Josie,
working in an observatory, spots his space capsule
returning to Earth.
After spinning a fantastic tale of surviving in space and
visiting an alien planet, the real reason for Earl's return is
revealed - revenge on the evil Dr. Frubar. Earl is aided by
five adorable, bloodthirsty aliens, his and her sex-starved
boyfriend, Darby.
MUTANT ALIENS, Bill Plympton's fourth independent
animated feature satirizes science-fiction, government
agencies, big business, advertising, and features his
trademark blend of twisted sex acts, slapstick
and visual jokes.
